Dr. Gilbert Jean-Louis
Dr. Gilbert Jean-Louis, is a Haitian American provider with over 15 years of clinical experience, specializing in primary care and medical weight loss with a focus on preventive medicine. Dr. Jean- Louis earned his Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University and his Masters of Science degree from South University. He has earned privileges at Multiple Hospitals across the United States including Florida, Arizona, Kentucky and West Virginia. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Jean -Louis Holds a Law degree from the University of the State of Haiti where he practiced Criminal Law and Employment Law for over five years . He collaborates with Local Organizations to improve health outcomes and advocate for health equity in underserved communities . He Leads workshops on hypertension , Diabetes and Obesity prevention in populations disproportionately affected by Chronic illness. Dr. Jean-Louis devoted a significant amount of his time to precept and mentor BSN nurses and Nurse practitioner students . His Philosophy of care is rooted in equity , he believes that no matter your anthropological origin , your level of wealth or education, you should have the right to quality care . His excellent bedside manner and dedication to his patient wellbeing and safety makes him respected in his field and the community .
